Global Trade Services
Cibar’s Global Trade Services (GTS) system was designed to fit the needs of every sized bank. Whether you are a small regional bank or a global trade bank, GTS will work for you. GTS has a structure that incorporates Imports, Exports, Standbys, Guarantees, Bankers’ Acceptances, Reimbursements, Cash Letters, Wire Transfers and Participation/Syndication’s. GTS provides all the information required by management to maintain a complete and accurate picture of the bank’s entire trade operation, and best of all, GTS maintains all this information on-line for instant access.

Cibar offers a Cash Letter system that is capable of interfacing to extract files generated by the proof department. The Cash Letter functionality includes the capability to give the customer both immediate or deferred credit and process returned items.
Standby L/C Module
Cibar offers a Standby Letter of Credit version of our Global Trade Services (GTS) system. The Standby Only application provides the bank the ability to process Standby Letters of Credit, including auto extension credits, automated evergreen renewals, direct payments, auto increase / decrease schedules, automated fee billing, accrual of the fee income, participation / syndication’s, reporting, imaging and much more.

Evergreen Response Portal is a web
application which will allow the seamless
integration between the banks Account Officers
and Operations team. The officer will receive
and email notification of pending renewal
notices that are coming due along with a
hyperlink to log into the decisioning portal.
Internet Customer Connection
ICCnet is Cibar’s Internet based, electronic customer portal product, which is installed at numerous banks and accessed by thousands of corporate customers. ICCnet provides all the business functionality required to support the Trade Finance business including Import and Standby Letters of Credit, Steamship/ Airway releases, Direct Collections, Incoming Collections and Export reporting

Federal Home Loan Bank
MLCS is Cibar’s client-server, back-office,
Letter of Credit system, which can scale in
size to serve a Federal Home Loan Bank’s
(FHLB) region with any number of Member
Banks. The FHLB MLCS applications are
based off 50+ years of Letter of Credit
expertise that has been tailored to meet the
requirements of issuing Federal Home Loan
Bank Letters of Credit for Member Banks.

MLCS has two main applications, MLCS Office and MLCS Web. MLCS Office is available for FHLB operations staff to create, review and approve Letters of Credit (L/C) and Public Unit Deposits (PUD) applications. MLCS Web is available for the Member Banks to electronically enter, review, and submit applications for L/Cs, PUDs, and Certificate of Utilizations (COU).
The MLCS applications support the issuance of amendment of Direct Standby Letters of Credit, Confirmation of Members Letters of Credit and Custodial Letters of Credit. In addition to these Letter of Credit processes, MLCS Web allows Member Banks to submit Certificate of Average Daily Balance for Direct L/C’s and Pledges for Custodial L/C’s.
MLCS Web is a web-based application that allows Member Banks to submit applications from any internet browser. The Member Banks are also able to receive email notifications when transactions are approved by FHLB’s Member Services department, signaling to the Member they can log in to MLCS web and review their Letter of Credit documents and view fees they were charged for the services rendered.
